Dr. Recknor is a leader and innovator in the field of Osteoporosis and bone health. The breadth of his expertise combines 22 years of medical practice with cutting edge Osteoporosis research. Dr. Recknor serves as an advisor for many national and international clinical trials and travels extensively as a speaker on the topics of Osteoporosis treatments and evidence based medicine. Dr Recknor received his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina, where he also performed his residency in internal medicine. He is a member of the American Medical Association, American Society of Bone and Mineral Research, International Society for Clinical Densitometry, and National Osteoporosis Foundation and many other organizations.

Dr. Recknor brings 22 years of experience in research design and data analysis to Ionmed Systems. Her primary role includes the design of research studies, quality control of the products and the oversight of the database and accompanying software systems. Dr. Recknor received her B.S. in Mathematics from Furman University, an M.S. in Mathematics from Clemson University and a Ph.D. in Biostatistics from the Medical University of South Carolina.

Brad Grant, BS - Director Software Engineering

Brad has 30+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst with special focus for 7+ years on medical software development.  He is proficient with Java web application programming, relational database design, and MySQL administration.  Mr. Grant received his B.S. in Applied Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics at Southern Polytechnic State University.

Joy Kelleher, Business Development

Joy’s background is in psychology and social work. Joy graduated with a B.S. degree in Child and Adolescent Psychology from Towson State University and an MSW from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She currently holds a clinical social work license in Georgia. During the span of her 20-year career, Joy has worked within the public and private sectors in the United States and Europe in both clinical and administrative roles. She has a proven track record internationally in redesigning behavioral health systems to maximize both resources and consumer outcomes. In addition, developing technological solutions for health and social issues has been a passion of Joy's for the past five years affording her the opportunity to promote new business innovations in the US and abroad.

Stephanie Grant - Occupational Therapy

Stephanie was involved in the development of the Bone Safety Evaluation (BSE), a key component of Ionmed System's product line. As an occupational therapist with a distinguished clinical and research career, Ms. Grant contributes her skill set to both the United Osteoporosis Center (UOC) and Ionmed systems. Currently Ms. Grant provides occupational therapy services for Amedisys, a leading home health agency. She is a graduate of Tufts University.
